Responsibility cannot be gained from irresponsible acts of cruelty, love for some cannot emerge as a lasting and beautiful expression from deprivation and degradation... to castrate a person's physical essence due to his incarceration, truly undermines the meaning of justice, in the form of rehabilitation...

Pain is pain no matter the cause, you cannot help the abused when you are the cause, he is a victim of your system so you are the flaw, beating him down with your inhumanity is the reason he's raw...

Your life has meant his death right from the very start, you cannot transform his pain when you're the reason he's scared, your TRUTH is a LIE so your facts are disbarred...

Your not the innocence you claim, you're the arbiter of the rules that confine his fame, telling him you're doing it in his best interest, when you don't believe in his penitence...

You cheat him out of his life for your self interest, because the value of his life validates your existence... You are the crouching tiger, hidden dragon that eludes his perception, you made him criminal just to hide your deception...

Got him thinking he's been on his own accord, but you are the yellow brick road that has been guiding his steps ever since his ancestors were old... You were the turbulence, the master and the miseducation... you were the hell and demon that created mass incarceration...

For your part is his truth, an extensive prison sentence ever since his youth... you created it and now you want to fix it, ain't that the truth?... so make amends and seek his forgiveness is something that you must do...

Judge not less you be judged first, is for all of us who knew, that the greatness of man can emerge from his suffering, and this is always the true...

So find his heart and remove his pain, so he can once again live amongst you, because being humane is a choice we make from the principles that has guided us through.. SO BE THAT CHANGE

THOMAS WASHINGTON - INNOCENT

  Dear Reader, My name is Thomas Louis Washington, prison number #407126 I am currently falsely imprisoned within the Michigan Department Of Corrections. I was sentenced to 42 to 82 years for 1st degree home invasion, assault with intent to murder. I have been wrongly convicted for 13 long years. The Detroit Police Officers who handled the evidence that would have proved my innocence either mishandled it or intentionally destroyed it. At my trial the Officer that handled the evidence failed to show up to my trial when he was called. INJUSTICE

The difficulty it takes trying to wrap my mind around this level of injustice, it's just too inhumane to be ingested, to absorb the particles of it's degradation on the face of it's merits, is to find yourself depressed and mentally angered for every second that you bare it... Because there's not one person on the face of the planet, that doesn't desire to be treated fairly, so how can you not hear me, when I am speaking so very clearly, or maybe you are not listening to my suffering because you are afraid to come near me, thinking that my pain may touch you and force you to treat me dearly...
